Communication is key, which is why every client at Morton Interiors is brought along on the design journey from start to finish! To ensure we completely capture your decisions and desires, our projects involve four stages: initial consultation, design concept, design development, and construction and install.

STAGE ONE: Initial Consultation

We want to know about your dream project. We will come to your home for a site visit and discuss the aims, budget and timeline, before providing you with a design brief and fee proposal.

STAGE TWO: Design Concept

Let’s take that dream project out of your head and onto paper. We will provide you with mood boards, ideas for fittings and finishes, furniture options, space planning and floor plan proposals. 

  STAGE THREE: Design Development 

We draw on your feedback from Stage Two and begin to bring designs to life. This includes final floorplans, design documentation, joinery drawings, and furniture, fittings and finishes selections. We constantly review designs with you and involve you in the decision making to ensure you have a comprehensive understanding of your project.

STAGE FOUR: Construction and Install 

Be it a renovation or styling job, this is when everything comes together. We communicate with builders, upholsterers, curtain makers and furniture suppliers for the construction and/or delivery of products and services, and liaise with suppliers and builders to ensure everything is up to top-notch standard. Once this is complete, we’re ready for the finishing touches - styling, photography, and most importantly, celebrating with you!

DESIGN FEES

Once you decide to go ahead with the project, we work at either an hourly rate or a fixed fee depending on the scope of the project. We are flexible and can work with you to ensure we fit within your budget.
